Leek, the father of Jack Leek, who was also the pioneer of the pleasure crafts industry in the U.S.  In the later part of the century, his pleasure boats would become the most sought-after kinds in the market.  The present construction of Ocean yachts may have little similarity with the vessels of the older Leeks but the same principle and determination to build yachts of the highest quality pervaded among the younger Leek generation.
